To Know Your History
I have been collecting any information I can about my family history. However, due to slavery, it is mostly anecdotal.
I have gathered up to five generations for my maternal grandmother and six generations for my maternal grandfather. It has been a progressive and eye-opening journey.
I pray that this is motivation and encouragement for others researchers!
Be patient. Donโt get discouraged.
It is possible to mend ancestral fractures.
It is possible to collect your history, and as a result, strengthen your workings.
