Protect Ya' Neck

My BFF is convinced I have... What's referred to in her tribe as a szo-szo. But over here in hoodoo we would call it a haint or maybe a root on us. She says it's very weird how bad things keep happening to me even tho I'm a nice person and don't go out that much. She thinks I may have carried something meant for my parents or ancestors

After my latest incident I'm beginning to think she's right. I do have a very uncommon and long string of bad luck. But all my ancestors that I would go to for help are passed on. What do I do?
