Eclipse + Hoodoo
My thoughts on the Eclipse for Hoodoos:
People prob gonna side eye me for this. But I can't get with the whole notion of not doing manifestation during the eclipse as a black person. The whole entire idea of rootwork was to be able to do something when nothing else seemed plausible.
Not to mention eclipses are able to hold secrets. The ability to do work with no eyes being able to watch.
I feel like a lot of the way astrology/spiritual practices has been interpreted is from a colonizers PoV. The same way they think the number 13 is unlucky but is considered a number of luck for us.
I've never had an issue with an eclipse. If anything I thrive during an eclipse. That's when I do my best work.
A lot of these "typical" spiritual nuances are โช๏ธ coded.
