I’m seeking a recommendation for what to read so that i can begin to understand Hoodoo. I’m interested in knowing what the practices mean for our community and what it would have meant for my ancestors, some of whom practiced.

I’m still at the beginning of my journey and i don’t know enough to know what I don’t know and there’s a large list of books out there. Where should I start?
